Abstract [eng] |
The development of information technology requires new approaches to teaching and learning content, especially in the context of a rapidly changing world. When implementing new computer science programs in elementary, basic and secondary education, it is important to adapt the learning content to the needs of modern students, especially the alpha generation. Competencies of digital literacy and informational thinking are needed in today's world. Therefore, traditional teaching aids, such as paper textbooks, no longer meet the needs of today's students, and it is proposed to create virtual learning environments that will increase the accessibility and motivation of learning. After conducting a study of the need for a virtual learning environment in informatics, it was found that a virtual learning environment in informatics is necessary for both teachers and students in order to improve learning, motivation and meet the modern needs of students. A comparison of virtual learning environments "Moodle" and "Google Classroom" is made, their features and advantages are discussed. Content creation tools such as digital editing programs, animation creation tools, video creation programs are also analyzed. In the project, a virtual learning environment for informatics was designed and created to teach informatics in the 5th grade, realized at Šilutė Pamario pro-gymnasium, using the virtual learning environment "Moodle". The study revealed that the created and tested virtual computer science learning environment is very useful for teachers and they would like to use it in the future. |
