Abstract [eng] A Four-Day Work-Week is a model of work organization in which work is carried out four days of eight or ten hours a day, choosing any additional day off in the week (most often it is Friday). The shortened working week raises a lot of debate in modern society. A significant number of employees and employers are skeptical of the anti-four-day work week, have a lot of fears, are not sure whether it is effective. This requires an analysis of the values and challenges that a four-day work week brings to employees and the organization in order to minimize doubts when deciding on the implementation of a four-day work week in the organization.
