Abstract [eng] |
Today's organizations are faced with frequent and rapid change, digital transformation processes, and the development of the latest technologies, without which it would be impossible to achieve competitive advantage. The term proposed by scholars to describe this ever-changing, volatile and complex business environment is VUCA (volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity). So this paper will seek define the relevance of this term and its relationship to the ongoing leadership changes. Such an environment requires not only structural change, but also flexible, rapid decision-making, and new leadership skills to effectively lead employees in a highly volatile market. In the age operate of technology and information, digital leadership competences are particularly relevant because of the chaotic context in which work many organizations. Volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous situations are becoming more frequent, and the business environment referred to as VUCA is becoming a daily routine to which every high-performing leader must adapt. Due to the relevance of the topic, the object of this thesis is the competences of digital leaders and the interaction of these competences with VUCA factors. It is assumed that digital leaders can meet the growing needs of customers and the market, stimulate cultural change in the company, and respond quickly to new business opportunities, which is why the main aim is to reveal the relationship between the competences of digital leadership and the subjective perception of VUCA factors. |
