Nowadays when customer needs are continuously changing manufacturing companies must pay much attention on a quality of products manufactured and their delivery to the end user. Therefore the way of management of a supply chain in such companies is particularly important. Efficiency of management of a supply chain is characterized by the fact that the required quality products which are sold for a right price are at required time and in the required place. And this must be done by the companies in much better way compared to their competitors. The research issue in this thesis is formulated by posing the following question: How a supply chain should be managed in the manufacturing company under conditions of modern changes to ensure its functionality? The object of the research: modeling of a supply chain according to an example of manufacturing companies. The purpose of the thesis – to prepare a model of management of a supply chain of manufacturing companies. The research tasks: 1. To reveal a significance and importance of management of a supply chain for organisations. 2. To substantiate theoretically the solutions of management of a supply chain in order to ensure its successful functioning. 3. To perform empirical research and to identify the existing management of a supply chain in manufacturing companies. 4. To propose solutions of improvement of management of a supply chain. Work methods: a systematic comparative and logical analysis of scientific literature, quantitative research - questionnaire survey method, data analysis. |
