The forestry sector is usually economically important in countries with abundant forests, and therefore the performance evaluation of this sector is important to ensure greater efficiency, competitiveness and provide insights on how to continuously improve it. Competition drives innovation, increases efficiency and develops freedom of choice. It encourages companies to reduce prices and focus on consumer needs. The ability to overcome the ever-increasing general competitive pressure resulting from the liberalization of goods and services markets and to be able to meet the increasingly stringent operating conditions is becoming increasingly relevant. |
