Abstract [eng] Global climate problems and the search for their solutions force the construction sector to look for alternative, environmentally friendly solutions and materials in the design and construction of high-rise and not only residential buildings. The first part of this work reviews the options for composite structures, one of the components of which is wood. Research conducted by scientists in the areas of strength, stiffness and vibration resistance of such elements is analyzed. Attention is drawn to the importance of the interconnections of composite materials. In the second and third parts, the research methodology is presented and the vibration resistance of composite floors made of wood and concrete is investigated. Two calculation methods are used: analytical, based on the recommendations provided by the European standards (Eurocodes) valid in Lithuania, and numerical engineering modeling with the SolidWorks software package. The obtained research results are compared with each other. A short study is also carried out to determine the influence of the spacing of the beams and the thickness and weight of the concrete slab on the vibration resistance of the slabs.
