The main purpose of the master project is to automate business processes in IT firm using intranet site with integrated workflows and document management functionality. The documentation of the project is divided in four main chapters. In the 1st chapter concept of intranet is defined. There is also an overview and comparison of different intranet implementation technologies which were evaluated during the project. The 2nd chapter is dedicated to user’s requirements specification. The documentation of detailed functional and non functional requirements is based on Volere’s template. After different technologies compared and user requirements specified it becomes clear that the best technology to suite company’s needs for intranet site is “MS Office SharePoint Server 2007”. The most important aspects of intranet system’s architecture are specified using UML (Unified Modeling Language) in the 3rd chapter. Architecture is defined using five main views: use case view, logical view, process view, deployment view and realization view. To ensure that the created intranet system meets the requirements it has to be tested. Testing strategies and results are described in the final 4th chapter. System is tested using four testing strategies: user interface test, functions test, stress test and user acceptance test. The results of user’s survey are also presented in this part. These results define user acceptance level as well as system’s quality. |
