Location based systems have wide range of usability. They are used in conjunction with emergency services, security systems, fleet management, localized advertising and others. Growing number of e-services and mobile technology market requires to create middleware system which integrates e-services, their users, mobile operators in order to apply users‘ location information more efficiently. The main problems when developing such systems are data integration, technical compatibility, semantics of location data, security. During my work the literature and comparable location based middleware systems were analysed. Considering to their disadvantages, e-services users‘ location information was created. Information system‘s main functions are to determine e-services users‘ location, analyse it and store it in database. Also e-service supplier has abilily to manage it‘s own objects‘ data and e-services‘ settings (related with location information) in information system‘s database. Location reports can be supplied using XML-RPC protocol and user interface. The essential features of the system are: 1) data intergration between e-service and information system issue was solved using XML-RPC protocol; 2) security violation determination based on location information analysis when user requests for e-service; 3) incorporating such e-servises as ATM, Point-of sales or other static access points based e-services. The system is implemented with PHP script language and MySQL database. |
