The main goal of this work was to develop a method that enables collect, analyze personal data and generate social network according data. Variety of sources can be used to collect data, such as academic publications database, dating websites. According to collected data, social network links are generated. Social network links and nodes are defined by the FOAF standard and stored in database. User may visually study generated social network, or some selected part of it, perform various calculations and find characteristics. This method combines software, that is used to embody above defined process. For data collection and analysis there is used tool, custom-made for this method. Collected data is stored in MSSQL relational database management system and visually displayed using tool Graphviz. This process and software parts are controlled by user-friendly visual application, developed using ASP.NET technology. |
