State budget increasingly issues funds for computerization of working places at the state institutions. This fact greatly improves the quality of services. However, another problem appears – that is the design of specialized software. As most of state institutions provide specific services, they need special software for their particular activities. The goal of this paper – create easily-handled application registry system for the Department of Social Assistance. E-Application form should be simple, clear, not overloaded, and understandable for the user with at least the minimum computer skills. Applications must be automatically registered in the data base of the department, and applicant must be informed of such registration by e-mail. Employees of the department analyze application and applicant is informed of the further state of application. Analysis revealed the lack of any such application’s registration system designed or used in Lithuania. Requirements, the need for such system, as well as functional and non-functional requirements for the system, together with requirement specification have been given. Programme architecture is described in the specification for architecture. Application registry system was tried in practice, the detected errors were eliminated. User’s documentation was prepared. Programme quality analysis revealed the application registry system to be satisfying the requirements. Realistic implementation of the project would help the citizens to communicate and work with the Department of Social Assistance on convenient hours and anywhere. |
