Increasing energy efficiency and changes in consumer behavior play an increasingly important role in order to reduce climate change. The Master's final thesis analyzes the dependence of individual household electricity consumption and costs on increasing efficiency, behavioral changes and the installation of a solar power plant. Using scientific literature, the paper examines the topic of energy poverty, its main problems, causes, and analyzes the benefits of energy efficiency and behavioral changes to reduce electricity consumption and costs. In the work, applying the final energy consumption model and the methodology of comparative cost analysis - benchmarking, using the electricity consumption data of the researched object, an analysis of efficiency and behavioral changes affecting electricity consumption and costs was carried out. Also, the analysis of the cost and benefits of the solar power plant was studied, while taking into consideration changes in consumer behavior and energy consumption efficiency increase. |
