The master‘s thesis studies the operation of transformer zero-sequence differential current protection in case of different transformer ground faults. In the overview section, power transformer and power transformer ground faults are described, zero-sequence differential protection and differential current protection are analyzed, additionally factor that can influence power transformers ground faults are analyzed. Research section describes transformer equivalent circuit, as well as main parameters for power transformer. According to calculated main transformer parameters, model is created in “Simulink” model space, different ground faults are prepared for simulation. Research results section presents protection operation and fault parameters during different ground faults, analyze factors that influence mentioned fault parameters. |
