Abstract [eng] Cloud-based business management systems are becoming increasingly important in the business world, as they can provide new solutions for managing resources and operations in organizations. The combination of these two technologies is able to provide a high level of flexibility and cost-effectiveness for companies of all sizes. With this system, organizations can access their software from anywhere at any time, eliminating the need to deploy and maintain on-premise hardware infrastructure. This accessibility and flexibility allows companies to improve processes, improve efficiency and make informed decisions based on real-time data. The cloud based business management systems had a huge impact on the business management systems market, the cloud has offered an alternative to the traditional on-premise systems that is more adaptable and cost-effective. The emergence of these systems has fueled market growth, attracting a variety of companies seeking to take advantage of cloud technology, especially small and medium-sized businesses for whom it is a viable solution that meets their operational and budget needs. As a result, cloud ERP vendors are expanding rapidly and competition in the market is increasing. The shift to cloud-based business management systems has spurred innovation and the creation of new features and functions, resulting in service providers constantly evolving their offerings to meet evolving customer needs, providing better customer experiences, advanced analytics, and integration with other cloud solutions. As a result, the market has become more dynamic and customer-centric, and companies can choose from a wide range of options based on their specific needs. In addition, cloud technology has allowed companies to implement high-level systems that were previously only available to large organizations with large budgets. These circumstances have given companies of all sizes the opportunity to compete on a level playing field and drive digital transformation in their industries. Taking this into account, this paper investigates what difficulties and challenges small and medium-sized companies face in terms of technological, organizational and environmental aspects when implementing and using cloud business management systems and what is the difference between these companies in terms of the aforementioned aspects.
