Abstract [eng] In today's world, the latest technologies play an important role in many sectors. Artificial intelligence (AI) is one of the most popular and recent fields of intelligence that is attracting a lot of attention from the public and scientists. AI has been considered the key to the “fourth” industrial revolution and is increasingly applied in manufacturing, finance, education, medicine, logistics and other sectors, making people's lives and society evolve in the direction of intelligence (Miller, 2019). For many organizations, to survive and create a competitive advantage in their activities, it is necessary to use the latest technologies, adapt their business model and processes to the changing society and rapidly developing technologies. The ability to adapt to the latest technologies is especially important given today's rapid technical progress, which creates significant challenges and opportunities (Kurzhals, Graf-Vlachy, & König, 2020). AI is promising and intensively developed and improved, so its prospects are high and many innovative companies seek to use artificial intelligence in their operations. AI is seen as a revolutionary and fundamentally “game-changing” set of technologies in the business world (Ågerfalk, 2020). The furniture manufacturing sector is an important part of the industry. The furniture manufacturing sector is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of more than 5% every year. The growth of the furniture sector and the improvement of furniture production contribute to improving the quality of people's daily lives. Currently, the furniture industry is facing several problems: low production efficiency, low product accuracy, and poor product quality (G. J. Long, Lin, Cai, & Nong, 2020). Artificial intelligence is considered one of the ways to help solve these problems, because the application of artificial intelligence is associated with higher product quality, increased production efficiency, and a lower number of defects. The application of artificial intelligence can be expensive and complicated, so it is important to know the possible correlations of the application with changes in performance indicators, to know in advance the difficulties that may arise during the application.
