| Abstract [eng] |
The digital economy has influenced the economic indicators of the countries of the European Union. The rapid development and integration of the digital economy with other sectors of the economy has boosted productivity, job creation and economic growth. However, there are also challenges and risks associated with the digital economy, such as the digital divide, cyber security threats and potential negative effects on employment and income inequality. To fully exploit the potential benefits of the digital economy, the revised policy guidelines must ensure that there is sufficient investment in digital infrastructure, regulatory frameworks that promote innovation and competition, and ensure that the exclusion of all digital skills is eliminated. |
