Abstract [eng] |
Today‘s fast-moving technological progress results in the creation of multiple new materials, a lot of which may not be thoroughly investigated due to the lack of time. The anticipation and prognosis of a material‘s behaviour during processing is necessary to ensure quality of the finished product and effective distribution of resources. For that, knowledge about the material is needed. This work aims to investigate multilayer materials that have not yet been evaluated, and test evaluating them with currently available methods. In order to do so, tests for needle penetration force, seam strength and visual material damage by needle have been conducted, and sewability coefficient has been calculated and evaluated in regards to the specific materials, comparing them to everyday fabrics. |
