The present study investigates the usage of geothermal energy for the household needs and for hot water heating. The introduction contains information about the relevance of the topic, goals and objectives of the present investigation. The theoretical part provides an overview of geothermal energy properties, its use not only for heating buildings, but also for electricity generation. It also provides technology used for heating buildings, their advantages and disadvantages. In the present analysis is calculated geothermal heating technology investmens, annual energy demand for heating, hot water, and the annual electricity demand. Displays geothermal heating economic assessment. The economic benefits of this work evaluated by calculation of the relative thermal energy discounted price. Finally, the present study includes the conclusions, comparable results of the work and selected optimal solar hot water system. |
