Abstract [eng] Master’s thesis consists of 4 main sections: investigatory, technology planning, work safety and economy. Investigatory thesis section provides the review of researches related to the quality of book hardcovers. The section also covers this thesis’ research of the warp of book hardcovers using different material parameters for the production of the covers. The analysis of the research results is provided as well. The technology section covers the planning of the technologic processes of the hardcover bookbinding. The characteristics of the production were introduced and post-printing work quality control was discussed in this section. Moreover, the efficiency of technologic operations, the necessary quantity of equipment and employees and main production facility area were calculated. Work safety and ecology section analyses occupational risk evaluation. The main possible risks in a bindery facility and the measures to avoid the risks were determined. Economy section covers the calculated investments needs for a new bindery facility. The main funding sources and designed facility payback period were provided. The evaluation of designed facility economic indicators was carried out as well.
