| Abstract [eng] |
This final project considers fruits processing automation development. The analysis of the different fruits processing systems is presented. The advantages and disadvantages of the fruit processing systems are analysed. The automation of the fruit processing plant is carried out into two distinct section of control using Programmable logic controller (PLC) and operator interface of the Supervisory control and Data acquisition system (SCADA). The prototype of the fruit sorting subsystem is developed and the algorithm for sorting of fruits depending on the size, colour and maturity of the fruit is developed. The results for the object recognition for specified fruit images on colour and size were developed by using Matlab. The calculations are made for the selection of conveyor system. The application of the image recognition is discussed. The conclusions of the work are defined and future developments of the system are proposed. |
