Abstract [eng] This Final Master‘s Degree Project analyzes the quality criteria and technological production process, which ensure rational and cost-effective production, of laser engraved business cards. The research of laser engraved promotional products qualitative assessment allowed to determine the optimal laser engraving machine operating parameters for paper business card production. The optimal engraving power is 40-60 W (the other parameters are: speed – 100 IPS, DPI – 380, PPI – 1100), the preferred paper is 350 g/m2 grammage. These parameters ensure qualitative, clearly visible and sufficiently exact image, which makes the products aesthetic and attractive for the customer. Designed technological process comprising all necessary stages of production, starting with the layout preparation and ending with the finished product packaging. The main technological processes are layout preparation and laser engraving. The quality control is carried out in every stage of production, bus the most important stage in quality control is the proof. It helps to prevent spoilage of the product throughout the print run. This technological process requires two employees: designer and laser engraving machine operator – packer. In order to ensure the work safety and environmental ecology, occupational risk and environmental impact assessment, was carried out. The evaluation of all potential sources of risk found that the value at risk is sufficiently low. The dust and fumes are produced in the engraving process, that‘s why the device is connected to the air cleaner with activated carbon and HEPA and exhaus air ventilation system. The evaluation of the company's financial economical indicators showed that this project will be successful. The investment required for the project will pay for itselt in 4 years and 4 months.
