Abstract [eng] |
The aim of final project is to create virtual actuator and computational models of wire stripping and crimping machine for verification of the prototype functionality at different parameter values and operating conditions. The study consisted of the following stages: 1) analysis of the literature; 2) creation of motion laws and analysis of main motion law curvature parameters; 3) design of actuator; 4) a kinematic transmission and strength analysis. Conclusions were prepared according to the simulation results. The first section provides a brief overview of the main wire stripping and crimping equipment, and short introduction into specific actuators used in these machines. Shortly are described stripping and crimping machine concept and virtual model. The third part is about motion curvature design and selection of key parameters, according to the used statistical results. Algorithm of cams design is presented. The third part describes performed kinematic and strength analysis using SolidWorks 2015 program. Conclusions and suggestions for future improvements are presented in last chapter of final project. |
