This research paper is about forming test specimens of compressed crumb rubber of size 0- 2mm and testing those specimens in tension and compression tests. Main mechanical properties of crumb rubber are analyzed, poisson‟s ratio in tension and yield strength are determined. Hyperelasticity model characteristics of rubber are defined. Joining of pipes with rubber made of defined material is simulated in program “Ansys Workbench 16.2”. |
