Most of the electricity distribution sector in Lithuania is built before 40 or 50 years, so there are many obsolete and unsafe devices, which must be changed in order to ensure a reliable and quality electric power supply to consumers. This requires large investments in the electric power distribution network, which can improve reliability indicators, ensure that the network would be safe, reliable and resistant to force majeure.
