Power grids operators are beginning to install new type of grids, called smart grids. Smart grids efficiently and economically integrate all grid users, are known for high services quality and reliability. Reliability is the most important index of grids quality. In this thesis, You could find an estimated possibility of instalment of smart grids in distribution grid. Valuated sides are reliability and economic efficiency. Thesis consist of analysis of smart grids benefits, its flaws, and new technologies, also ongoing researches. Later part is about reliability assessment and research part. A reliability assessment and costs – benefits analysis are carried out for selected distribution grid. Results shows that maintenance cost of smart grid is much lower than old type grid, grid operator and consumers could benefit from instalment of smart grid. |
