| Abstract [eng] |
This final master‘s thesis analyzes problem created by different rail gauge between countries and examines unconventional solution – variable gauge train chassis system. The thesis analyzes and compares different variable gauge train chassis systems. The computational model of SUW-2000 system is analyzed in order to find, analyze and evaluate weaknesses in the system. In order to evaluate complex performance and loading conditions of standard wheelset, there was created a computational model, and a static analysis with different rail gauge and loads was carried out. This thesis also contains economical evaluation of adaptive wheelset use in Lithuania. |
