Abstract [eng] |
In Vilnius operates the most powerful 60 MW biofuel-fired steam boiler in Lithuania. The nominal power of the boiler 75 t/h, steam pressure 4,0 MPa. Thermal energy produced in a steam boiler operating based on fluidised bed technology travels to the turbogenerator in the form of steam. An electrostatic filter and selective non-catalytic reduction (SNCR) system are installed in order to reduce the emissions of particulates and nitrogen oxides, produced during combustion, into the environment. After the pollutant emission rates have been decreased as of this year, calculations and measurements were carried out in order to determine whether our selected biofuel-fired steam boiler BKZ-75-39-FB meets the established pollutant emission concentration limits. |
