The master thesis was done according to the work task. The analysis of tankers meant for transporting liquefied gases was carried out, describing tanker types, their properties. Analysis also contains photos of tankers and their construction schemes. The paper analyzed the braking and cornering dynamics of tanker trucks. Analytical calculations were performed to theoretically measure these dynamic movements. The comparison of two main types of baffles was done. According to the results and also taking into account the designated working conditions, the more cost effective design option was chosen. A study of tanker damages was carried out. In this study, a geometric model of a tanker was created and forces, affecting the baffles, were determined. |
