Increasing the total number of cars is increasing and the number of sports cars. Sports car more and more attention paid to safety, structural strength and minimum weight. In the paper reviewed constructions of sports’ cars frames. Analyzed the space- frame structure forming elements and bonding techniques. Experimental testing showed space frame element point stresses and strains. Test results are compared with analytic results. Sports car frame model designed in SolidWorks environment, while all the strength calculations are carried out in ANSYS WorkBench environment package. Made recommendations for the frame optimization. Research methods and equipment have the potential to improve. Software and hardware development goal: the ability to easily and cheaply but precisely measure forces and deformations of cars frames or structural elements points in real time. |
