This master’s thesis analyses the current Lithuanian tourism development policy. The aim of the thesis is to assess any and all tourism development opportunities in the Neringa municipality. In order to achieve this aim, three objectives of research were formulated: to analyse the principles of the tourism development policy and management; to define the legal framework of the tourism sector in the European Union and Lithuania in particular; to assess the policy of tourism development in the Neringa municipality and to make recommendations on how improvements can be made. |
