| Abstract [eng] |
The requirements of level crossing and their categories are presented in this Master’s thesis. Traffic accidents that occur at level crossings and the causes of those accidents are analyzed. Furthermore, the damages of locomotives that were sustained during the accident are examined. The statistics of traffic accidents at level crossings were analyzed according to the data of The State Railway Inspectorate. In this paper economic evaluation of losses is performed. The calculation of state losses caused by the injury or death of a person is presented. What is more, the calculation of the loss that both the passengers and the companies suffer by the train delays is introduced. After the evaluation of the trajectory of a car during the impact, computer model of the collisions of a car and a locomotive was performed as well as the analysis of the results. Finally, the proposals were submitted in order to improve traffic safety at level crossings. |
