Abstract [eng] The final Master Work analyses the assumptions of the co-creation in general education processes in Lithuania: the case of Šiauliai Salduvė Progymnasium and Šiauliai Stasys Šalkauskis Gymnasium. The co-creation phenomenon is a relatively new research object in the context of public administration and became an area of a greater interest only in the last decade. While public administration is becoming more modern the concepts of democracy, citizenship and community are becoming more and more popular. Thus the co-creation phenomenon is becoming significant not only in private but in public administration sectors, as well. The demand for co-creation is seen in providing education services. The aim of the research - is to establish the assumptions of the co-creation in general education processes in Lithuania. Research object - general education processes. Research subject – co-creation in general education processes. Objectives of the research: to overview of the theoretical aspects of co-creation in public services; to reveal the essence of co-creation in general education processes; to analyze the documents regulating co-creation in general education processes and best practices in Lithuanian schools; to perform the study of co-creation in general education processes in Šiauliai Salduvė Pro-Gymnasium and Šiauliai Stasys Šalkauskis Gymnasium.Research methods: the work contains the analysis of scientific literature, documents and other sources, as well as, the analysis of the interview and questionnaire survey results.
