Nowadays HVDC technology are rapidly evolving in the world. Number of HVDC interconnectios are constantly growing and a lot of asychonous systems are connected using the HVDC interconnections. There are two HVDC interconnections started working in Lithuania this year: NordBalt – Connection with Sweden and LitPol Link – connection with Poland. In this final project are widely considered LitPol Link system, investigating characteristics of this connection. Using modeling program „MICRO-CAP“ there are made a model of HVDC Classic system. Also in this project had been made an experiment of HVDC system in laboratory to make sure of mathematical model reality comparing with real equipment. |
