The research object of this Master thesis is the process of software documentation preparation and delivery in company called \"IT Sprendimai\". During research some gaps and opportunities for improvements are identified: not possible to separate documentation's content from display, no opportunity to easily convert document to different formats, difficulties in managing documentation's content and duplication of information in document. The developed software documentation method is based on a flexible format technology DITA, which allows to convert documents into different formats using one command. Also, the new approach allows to place certain documentation content data automatically into the table and simplifies the documentation preparation process. The experimental study showed that the developed documentation preparation and delivery method is faster and more convenient. The company \"IT Sprendimai\" has been given a recommendation to move to a newly developed method of documentation. Moreover, deployment and integration of new technologies into existing system solution plan has been prepared. |
