Abstract [eng] The paper analyzes the construction materials and concrete, used components and their properties. The research work used in building materials, various additives to improve the properties of concrete. The aim - to explore the expanded polystyrene beads frost resistance, impact concrete properties such as density, compressive strength, flexural strength splitting. Set the influence of the use of the volumetric cooling method, the capillary cooling method. Carry a water absorption kinetics and calculate the porosity parameters and frost resistance test. Set strength properties: compressive strength and splitting tensile strength. An overview of the various scientific articles and works related to demping additives and polystyrene bead properties. The exploratory part designed concrete compositions formed cubes tested with the help of various concrete samples obtained results are compared to expanded polystyrene beads cubes tests.
