Abstract [eng] |
In today’s society the science and technology advancement is getting more significant. It is important to mention that Lithuania, according to Global innovation index,(2015) takes the worst-35th place (compared with other Baltic region states) that is the reason why there is a demand to promote the creation of innovations in Lithuania. Taking into account the global practice, the most effective and the most used tool to promote the innovations in various technology and science fields is lobbying (CATA Alliance, 2015). Influential global organisations, such as International collaboration and development organisation (2013) Transparency International (2015) pays attention to the services that lobby groups can provide and their ability to share the specialized information with different institutions on the various levels, especially with the executive power. It is important to mention that in the case of lobby group innovation promotion, the impact to to the government institutions is made not only to achieve a temporary victory, but to create an ongoing advancement within the state. This advancement would be achieved thorough the promotion of innovations in the fields like health care, advanced technology, finance sector and etc. While there is growing demand for innovations in government advancement growth, the lobbyist organisations are getting more important. Considering the inadequate situation in Lithuania, when the health care level is extremely high and the health care representatives are competent to apply innovative solutions to the treatment of the patients, some of the treatment methods and processes are still not legal and approved by law. This example shows how state is preventing the promotion of innovations. For this reason the purpose of master‘s thesis – analyse and prepare recommendations for Lithuanian Fertility Association for innovation promotion and application by the means of lobbying. |
