Abstract [eng] The cooperation between customers and companies has been implemented for a long time but still in today's business environment the user's role in new product development process is constantly changing. While companies took the leader’s position in new product development and product innovation, the customers have been quite passive in these processes. The growing perception that effective consumer satisfaction determines the success of the product made consumers more actively involved in product innovation processes.
