Most of the production companies employ sales in order to accumulate financial resources required for manufacturing. A number of factors, such as changes in market, actions of competitor companies, changes of economic conditions, forces companies to find solutions for improving their efficiency. While developing international relations, company’s supply sources might change. This requires an implementation of modern logistic solutions. Traditionally, operations related to the flows of material goods are divided. However, logistics system offers a way to plan, implement and control all operations altogether. Each system consists of interrelated elements with particular economic intentions which supplement each other when achievement of one economic intention helps to achieve the other. Therefore, element activities must be aimed at one main goal which is meeting the customer needs while increasing company’s efficiency. All elements of logistics are interconnected by the flow of material goods. One of the links of material goods flow is supply logistics. In this project, efficiency of supply logistics of AB Stumbras is studied. |
