Abstract [eng] |
The aim of the master's final project is to investigate how different amounts of plastic and glass used as partial aggregate instead of sand influence the mechanical and physical properties of concrete. Create a construction product using the most optimal mixture and check the frost resistance. The work consists of a theoretical and an experimental part. In the theoretical part, literature analysis is performed. The mechanical and physical properties of concrete products of a similar nature using glass and plastic waste are examined. Research methods and used waste processing methods are compared. In the experimental part, concrete specimens with glass and/or plastic are examined, their mechanical and physical properties are determined. After choosing the optimal mixture, a product is produced - a pad, and as an alternative, two more pads are produced using only glass or plastic. Tests for determining the mechanical parameters of the mixture samples, prediction of frost resistance, evaluation of mass loss, and measurement of porosity were carried out. |
