The master thesis consists of four main parts. The work includes problem analysis, theoretical aspects, methodology and practical solutions to the problem. In the first and second parts, the concept of innovation, typology, main classifications and models are presented. The main elements of the innovation implementation system are presented and the problems of the innovation implementation process are highlighted. The global and Lithuanian postal markets, their investments and achievements are reviewed. The main methods, models and validity of economic efficiency evaluation of innovations are discussed.
