Abstract [eng] |
The COVID-19 pandemic has affected almost all areas of life, including employee workloads. During the pandemic, the workload of many employees increased due to the changed form of work, redistribution of work, changed order, which required prompt adaptation. There is an abundance of research related to the workloads experienced by employees during the pandemic, but there is a lack of knowledge about current workloads after the pandemic subsides, so there is a need for an empirical study. Workloads are important to study because, as the theoretical analysis showed, excessive workloads of employees have a negative impact on both the overall well-being of employees and the organization, due to the fact that employees experiencing excessive workloads work inefficiently. The problem of the study - how did employee workloads change during the COVID-19 pandemic and after the pandemic subsided, compared to pre-pandemic levels? The object of the study is the workload experienced by the employee. The purpose of the study is to determine the changes in the workload experienced by the employee during the COVID-19 pandemic. The objectives of the study: 1. To disclose the problem of changes in the workload experienced by employees during the COVID-19 pandemic. 2. To reveal theoretical solutions to changes in the workload experienced by employees during the COVID-19 pandemic. 3. To present the research methodology of changes in the workload experienced by employees during the COVID-19 pandemic. 4. Conduct an empirical study of changes in the workload experienced by employees during the COVID-19 pandemic. The methods of the study - data and information interpretation, comparison, systematization, analysis, summarization. Key findings and conclusions of the study. An empirical study found that educational workers experienced significantly increased workloads during the COVID-19 pandemic, the main reason for which was remote work. In the post-pandemic period, the workloads of some employees remain increased due to the use of technologies discovered during the pandemic and the continuing activities they engaged in during the pandemic. It has been established that increased workloads lead to negative consequences, such as work-life imbalance and health problems. When workloads are reduced, employees are in a better mood, they have more free time, and their motivation is higher. |
