Abstract [eng] |
Businesses today face unpredictable business conditions, an economic crisis, labour shortages and, in recent years, a pandemic that has gripped the world. Having lived through more than two years of the pandemic, it is clear that it has caught us unprepared both medically and economically. The COVID-19 pandemic has affected many sectors and business processes, and corporate social responsibility is no exception. CSR depends on a number of things, such as favourable economic conditions, a company's good financial position, a positive attitude from the state, a stable legal system, a company's mission and culture. In a stable business environment, we see fewer corporate initiatives, but what is the role of corporate social responsibility when we are in a more dynamic situation, such as an economic crisis, a global pandemic or a war. |
