Exploitation properties of polymer coatings obtained by electrostatic powder-methods were studied in the final master thesis. Review and analysis of powder coating technologies are provided. Testing instruments, their characteristics and work was provided in methodological part. Roughness, hardness and gloss tests of polymer coating surface are performed. Exploitation properties were evaluated by adhesion, resistance to abrasion, bending and chemical tests. Coatings, with different thickness, produced at the same coating technique, were investigated. Additionally it was investigated the effect of metal thickness and different preparation methods of new and used hooks to polymer coating thickness. In experiment, an attempt to find out the influence of polymerization time on the polymeric coatings surface properties was investigated. Conclusions and recommendations are provided on the basis of the results obtained in the research work. |
