Abstract [eng] Europe is currently experiencing the largest influx of refugees since the Second World War and the effective cooperation between the Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) and Governmental Institutions on implementing the integration policy of refugees become highly required. The Public Sector is not able to implement the successful integration of foreigners granted asylum so NGOs play an important role in every state of European Union (EU). Whereas the EU and the Member States' legal harmonization process is not complete and Master thesis examines what asylum and integration policy EU creates and how it is developing in Lithuania, what kind of integration problems foreigners granted asylum face to and how NGOs help to implement integracion policy. The first chapter of thesis presents a review of the integration policy of foreigners granted asylum in EU and Lithuania. The second part analyzes the role of NGOs in implementing the integration policy of foreigners granted asylum in Lithuania. The third part presents research methodology and results which reveal problems of integration policy and aspects of NGOs in policy implementation.
