Whilst planning a long term and well-functioning production company's development strategy it is necessary to consider all essential production processes and align them with each other. To analyze production strategy, Lithuanian Production Company was chosen. The company mentioned produces bespoke furniture. The master thesis aim is to understand the company's production strategy analysis and to examine the potential of innovative technology capabilities in order to improve the company's existing strategy and reduce its losses. The first overview part looks into the production development strategy aims, structure and organization of the main strategic components. The research part of this paper analyses development strategy features, processes and the make-up of the components, strategy indicators, competitiveness and market research analysis, manufacturing strategy analysis techniques, 3D CAD model development methods, innovative technologies implementation, quality control methods and key aspects of environmental strategies. The third part presents manufacturing strategy optimization of the company in question based on potential of innovative technologies capabilities. Conclusions: 1) After analyzing the company's strategy, were identified, that the company’s strategy category -“Quality”category 2)company could use a new product design technology which would increase the company's profits by reducing the process of construction delays; 3) an assessment of the updated company's manufacturing strategy, can be said, that innovation could have been chosen correctly, and it could help the company move towards flexibility stage. |
