Potential of furniture manufacturing ckuster's expressed this favorable treatment: range of products and variety of company's operations; structure of production, which encompassing almost the entire value chain, from lumber to the various assortment of furniture; corporate ownership and geographical spread of the structure is formed of 4 - 5 group of companies in a position to implement a coordinated strategy. However, co-operation and efforts to professionalise their activities between these groups of companies is minimal and the furniture manufacturing sector relationships with other industries are quite limited. So it's a reason to promote closer cooperation between the Lithuanian furniture manufacturers, related industries companies and associated institutions. In order to effectively exploit the advantages of clustering, it is necessary to better understand the economic cluster theory and practice. This would provide the opportunity to successfully install the cluster. |
