The paper consists of four main parts. Results of scientific researches performed in Lithuania and abroad, statistical data and scientific literature are analysed, Lithuanian labour market is discussed, last year‘s economic situation in Lithuania is described, emigration and immigration tendencies are analysed in the first part. Impact of emigration on Lithuanian labour market is discussed, main causes of emigration are named, statistical data is reviewed and positive and negative impact of emigration on Lithuanian labour market is determined. This part of the paper examines equal opportunities for men and women in Lithuanian labour market, determines differences of mens’ and womens’ wages, causes and consequences of the formed differences are stated. Lithuanian education and health care systems are reviewed, analysis of results of performed researches allowed ascertaining advantages and disadvantages of the Lithuanian education and health care systems. |
