Use of renewable energy resources is one of the most important strategic provisions of Lithuanian energy policy. When renovating residential apartment buildings, renewable energy resources ought to be considered more meaningfully and the end users should get technical and financial support. The apartment building in Marijonų st. 31, Panevėžys – the first one in Lithuania where complex use of renewable energy resources in the heating system was implemented. With the intention of investigating what kind of effect on the residential apartment building the modernisation had, including the use of renewable energy resources, an empirical study was conducted. |
