Strict technical regulations, rising prices of constructions and heating force to look for innovative, cost-effective and optimal solutions. Builders requirements for foundation installation are: foundation has to be stable, reliable, easily and quickly installed, the price and heat loss as low as possible. (From 2018 m. energy class of newly constructed building must be not less than A+). Currently during individual constructions there are a lot of discussions about foundation. The biggest attention is paid for two types of foundation: bored pile foundation and flat foundation which is getting more and more popular when building passive houses. In this paper the installation of bored pile and flat foundations is analyzed according to these criteria: stability, human resources and time expenditure and economic aspects. There are presented advantages and disadvantages of both foundations types that may lead to the foundation type selection. |
