Abstract [eng] In Master‘s final work there was performed residential building energy performance calculations and the research of engineering systems state. Based on the research results, along with a building energy-efficiency calculations, the energy performance class F was determined. In order to reduce the residential multifamily building energy consumption, the various cost-effectiveness of energy-saving assessments were presented. Taking into account these assessments the heating, hot water and ventilation systems were designed for this building. The existing one-pipe upper distribution heating system is being modernized into independent two-pipe upper distribution system in two-story multi-family residential building at Kaunas. The heat for the building is supplied from the district heating network. Devices used for building heating are lower connection steel radiators. Required heating capacity for a building after modernization is 41,9 kW. The mechanical ventilation system whose airflow 2044 m3/h is designed for a building. Air for the building is supplied and discharged by ventilation device VERSO-PCF-20_2.5 installed at the attic. The building hot water system is modernized by installing a circulation circuit together with towel dryers. Also for hot water preparation, flat plate solar collectors with a total area of 40.14 m2 were installed on the roof.
