The main topic of this master’s final project is structural part of project of a business center in Kaunas. It is a two storey building with two terraces. The extent of the building is – 2049.1 square meters, and the extent of the plot is – 10614 square meters. This final project consists of the following sections: 1. Building regulation and legislation section in which all the legal acts of a building process are identified. 2. Architectural section, in which architectural solution of a building is discussed and the coefficient for the heat transfer of a roof is being calculated. 3. Structural section, in which prefabricated reinforced concrete span, prefabricated reinforced concrete column, boned piles and prefabricated reinforced concrete foundation are calculated. 4. Technological and economical section, in which the economical comparison between prefabricated reinforced concrete foundation and boned piles foundation is made. A description about the installation of boned piles foundation is added. 5. Safety at work and environmental section, in which evaluation of the professional risks is made and a detailed description of the safety at work and the environmental issues handling is provided. In this particular project the calculations of the following structures is made: hallow core slab, prefabricated reinforced concrete beam, prefabricated reinforced concrete column, prefabricated reinforced concrete and boned piles foundation. |
